Job Summary
Oldcastle APG is seeking a dynamic, results-driven Strategic Accounts Manager to lead and expand relationships with our valued National Retail and Building Products Distribution customers. This high-impact role is ideal for a strategic thinker with a strong customer focus and a passion for driving growth in a competitive building materials landscape. As Strategic Accounts Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing key partnerships across these channels. You will play a pivotal role in executing sales strategies, enhancing service delivery, and aligning national account initiatives with local sales efforts. Your leadership will directly influence the success of Oldcastle APG’s comprehensive portfolio of building materials. Reporting to theVP National Accounts, this role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, streamline execution, and deliver exceptional value to our customers.

Job Responsibilities
Lead and manage strategic relationships with National Retail and Building Products customer accounts across multiple customer channels.Develop and execute portfolio strategies to drive growth and market share for Oldcastle APG.Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities with existing and prospective accounts.Partner with internal stakeholders including marketing, operations, and product management to support account initiatives.Track performance metrics and provide regular reporting to senior leadership.Represent Oldcastle APG at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings as needed.Manage Oldcastle APG’s presence at industry trade shows, including scheduling, booth reservations, promotional planning, and staffing assignments to ensure a strong and professional brand presence.Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree and / or combination of related professional experience as listed belowMinimum of 5+ years in Sales and Sales Leadership roles with organic, high-growth results3+ years sales experience serving National Retailers and Building Products distributors or national account managementAbility to communicate effectively across multiple levels in the organization, strong presentation skillsStrong CRM expertise and the ability to use this data to deliver more accurate forecasts, measure the proper KPIs and professionalize pipeline management to drive accountabilityExperience in the building materials industry selling Building Products and / or Construction- related materialsStrong attention to detail, thorough and high sense of urgencyStrong training and team development orientationExcellent customer service focus and skillsAbility to travel up to 40%What CRH Offers You
