Let's imagine what's possible—and design a better future, together.The OpportunityWe are seeking a full-time Senior Project Designer with a minimum of 10 years' related experience for our Kansas City studio location. In this role you’ll be responsible for ensuring the excellence of a project’s design. You’ll have in-depth involvement coordinating the client’s vision with the Studio team to help ensure a successfully executed design. You’ll participate in providing design concepts and technical documents for projects. You can expect to work with a project team that ensures the projects meet metrics for energy performance, financial performance and design excellence.What You'll Do
- Responsible for leading design and execution of architectural projects, guiding the process from concept to completion.
- Develop creative design concepts and detailed technical drawings and ensure the final product meets both aesthetic and functional goals of the client.
- Provides oversight during construction phase to ensure design alignment.
- Work closely with clients, engineers, and contractors to ensure projects stay on schedule, within budget, and adheres to regulatory standards.
- Provide technical guidance to junior staff .
What You Bring
Professional degree in architectureMinimum of 10 years’ related experienceExperience working with high-design projectsProven experience in concept development, design execution, and technical documentationStrong rendering skills and proficiency with Revit 2025Exceptional skills in communication, design, collaboration, and leadership skillsAbility to create new ideas both independently and in collaborationAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary environment and be flexible to support numerous teams in any project phaseWho You Are
