Responsibilities :

• Develop, monitor, and maintain the Corporate Safety Manual, Safety program and safety culture to align with FRA (Federal Railroad Administration) regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
• Oversee Rail Worker Safety Certification Programs; ensure compliance with certification requirements for roadway workers, engineers, and other rail personnel.
• Oversee and coordinate staff safety training.
• Ensure Regulatory Compliance; Monitor and enforce adherence to FRA, OSHA, and other Federal, State, and local Rail Industry regulations.
• Maintain Safety Records and Incident Reports Perform inspections of construction sites and oversees inspections of other staff, consultants, and contractors to ensure compliance with safety policies, rules and regulations.
• Identify elements affecting corporate and project safety.
• Assist with audits for consultants and contractors' safety achievements.
• Prepare and submit reports such as inspection reports, audit reports, and incident reports to the leadership team and clients.
• Review and audit Site Specific Safety Plans (SSSPs) and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA).
• Hold and lead safety meetings with staff, consultants, and contractors as needed.
• Promote a culture of Safety; Act as a safety advocate, ensuring that all employees understand the importance of projects and corporate safety and compliance.
• Have a solid working knowledge of Cal OSHA requirements.
• Perform and support additional tasks and responsibilities as required by the company to support safety objectives and operating goals.

Qualifications :

Computer skills and experience with MS Office to prepare and present reports Great Communication skills are required Valid California Class C Driver’s license Strength in managing multiple competing priorities in a deadline driven environment We are unable to provide Sponsorship at this time Ability to commute / relocate :
