Payroll Specialist Opportunity

Insight Global is seeking a  Payroll Specialist  for one of their top clients in the  North Houston area . This position will be  5 days a week onsite from 8 AM - 5 PM . They will be joining a team of 5 other payroll specialist, so need to be comfortable working in a team environment. He / She will assess payroll challenges, resolves payroll matters and makes recommendations for more efficient process improvements. They will process employee terminations and ensure that changes to departments, locations and compensation are accurate and timely. Coordinate with the HR, Benefits, and Compensation teams to ensure an efficient and accurate payroll cycle. This person will need to have excellent written and verbal communication. This will be a 6 week contract with possible to extend long term.

5 days a week onsite from 8 AM - 5 PM

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

2+ years of experience as a Payroll Specialist

Experience with processing, analyzing, and auditing multi-state bi-weekly payrolls

Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel

Knowledge of Kronos, e-Time, ADP or in-house payroll experience preferred
