Position Overview for the Project Architect :
JARBO is working with a growing Architecture firm who's looking to hire a Project Architect with a focus on Municipal, Commercial, Retail, Multi-Family, and / or Greek projects to join our dynamic team. This role is essential to delivering high-quality, innovative designs and ensuring their projects exceed client expectations. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a professional setting and preferably in pursuit of their license in the state of Oklahoma.
Key Responsibilities for the Project Architect :
- Assist in and lead in the design process for projects from concept through completion, ensuring compliance with state and federal standards, as well as client specifications.
- Act as a contact for clients, school administrators, and other stakeholders, facilitating clear communication and building long-term relationships.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams, including engineers, consultants, and construction professionals, to ensure seamless project integration and address design and technical challenges effectively.
- Develop and oversee construction documentation to ensure project accuracy and adherence to budget, timelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure all project elements meet applicable codes and standards with a focus on safety, accessibility, and durability.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior architects and support staff, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.
