Job Summary and Qualifications
As a Certified Surgical Technician, you will work under the guidance of a Registered Nurse to ensure high-quality nursing care in the operating room. Your responsibilities may include :
Providing direct patient care and monitoring.Scrubbing in and assisting during surgical procedures.Maintaining the operating room and preparing it for upcoming surgeries.Documenting clinical data accurately in medical records.Collaborating closely with the nursing staff on clinical decisions.Your responsibilities will include :
Rotating to various ambulatory surgery center facilities as needed.Performing specialized technical skills for surgical technologists as outlined by the Association of Surgical Technologists.Preparing the surgical area by ensuring all instruments, supplies, and equipment are ready and sterile.Contributing to maintaining a sterile environment during procedures.Assisting with room turnover and ensuring cleanliness between surgeries.Setting up for future surgical days by organizing equipment and supplies.Qualifications Required :
