POSITION OVERVIEW :

This position will require pipe welding and structural welding welding with stringent quality requirements that include radiographic ultrasonic penetrant and magnetic particle examination of completed welds and other duties as assigned. This position reports to the Craft Superintendent.

JOB DUTIES :

• Perform code & non-code welding on pipe pressure equipment plate and structural steel.
• Perform code & non-code welding of carbon steel and alloys.
• Perform journeyman level pipefitting layout and construction of piping. Make orthographic and isometric drawings or sketches of piping systems.
• Read P&IDs and understand symbols
• Familiarity with pipe classifications
• Perform journeyman level rigging tasks
• Will be expected to flex in pipefitting and rigging crafts
• Wear proper PPE and prioritize Safety
• Perform good quality functionalities that me ASME AWS API standards.
• Performs NDE Testing as required by code
• Understand Energy Isolation
• Understands pipe fitting materials
• Fabricate and install piping supports and hangers.
• Weld Carbon steel Stainless steel and various alloys per piping specifications using GMAW and SMAW

PAY AND BENEFITS :

Starting pay is $50.34-$54.30 per hour with highly competitive benefits including retirement and medical.
