Position Details :

Patient Population : Adult & Geriatric

Setting : Primarily outpatient, minimal inpatient

Responsibilities : Management of VAD / CV Catheters & Intrathecal chemo, participation in Tumor Board, order tests, prescribe treatment

Required Procedures : Management of VAD / CV Catheters & Intrathecal chemo

EMR System : Mosaiq

Support Staff : 4 APPs, 2 Radiation Oncologists

Days Per Month : 5-6 on-call days

On-Call / Weekends : 1 : 4 by phone only

Submission Requirements :

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Hematology / Oncology or Internal Medicine with subspecialty certification in Hematology / Oncology
• Iowa license or IMLC (or willing to obtain)
• BLS
• DEA certification
• CDS certification
