Senior Financial Analyst

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Develop new methods for presenting meaningful analysis and financial information to management, utilizing statistical analysis and graphic presentation techniques Provide analysis of the sales distribution (product line categories, vehicle of sale, sales by state, etc.), gross margin, and obsolescence for actual results, budget and forecast projections Prepare financial models to help identify potential risks and opportunities compared to budget and forecast Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analysis Increase productivity by developing automated processes Work closely with Marketing and provide analysis to support strategies to reduce the overall inventory balances and obsolescence Prepare and book necessary journal entries related to sales, gross margin and obsolescence Complete assigned sections of the Worldwide reporting package, Internal reporting and reporting to the DSA (Direct Sales Industry) Compile all required data and provide information to support both internal and external audits Maintain product line database and insure accuracy of system and product line reporting Provide required input for monthly logistics reporting Insure that the inventory obsolescence is accurately stated and in compliance with the current policy Ensures that management is kept informed of all decisions which affect the financial objective of the business Review and approve purchase order requests for sales aids and premium items Prepare and route for approval inventory dump ITD's All other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS        EDUCATION : B.S.

Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics EXPERIENCE :
