Education : Associates degree in Child Development or related field preferredTechnical Skills : Strong computer literacy with 2-3 years experience in Microsoft Word Publisher Excel Picture Manager Outlook and internetExperience : Office systems and procedures record keeping and tracking coursework / experience in 0-3 education or human development preferredProfessional Competencies : Excellent written verbal and listening communication skills; detail-oriented with high accuracy; independent work and prioritization abilitiesKnowledge : Low-income multicultural families and their needs preferredLanguage : Bilingual Spanish skills requiredSchedule Flexibility : Available for frequent evening and occasional weekend workWHAT YOULL DO
As a Program Specialist youll support program excellence by :
Supporting Green County Early Head Start Home Based programs with essential administrative functionsPreparing materials and maintaining curricular resources for home visitsManaging transportation and nutrition needs for socialization eventsDeveloping newsletters and other written materials for families and staffAssisting families Family Advocates and EHS SupervisorsSupporting overall program compliance through strong record keeping and tracking systemsCoordinating special projects that enhance program qualityCommunicating professionally with parents staff and managementWHO WE ARE
