We are seeking a seasoned Network Engineer with strong expertise in enterprise networking and a working knowledge of DOCSIS and CMTS technologies. This role is ideal for candidates with a solid foundation in network infrastructure who are eager to deepen their experience in cable broadband technologies. The ideal candidate will be proactive, technically curious, and capable of contributing to both lab innovation and operational excellence.

This job will have the following responsibilities :

  • Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls
  • Configure and troubleshoot DOCSIS and CMTS systems in lab and production environments
  • Author and maintain technical documentation such as network diagrams, implementation guides, and field bulletins
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve network issues and optimize performance
  • Conduct assessments of existing technologies to identify performance and capacity gaps
  • Test and validate new features, bug fixes, and enhancements in lab environments
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and peers
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and contribute to platform evolution

Minimum Qualifications :

  • 5–10 years of experience in enterprise network engineering
  • Strong understanding of network architecture, routing protocols, and infrastructure
  • Hands-on experience with DOCSIS technologies and CMTS platforms
  • Proficiency in configuring and managing routers, switches, and security devices (firewalls, IDS / IPS)
  • Ability to author technical documentation (., network diagrams, implementation guides)
  • Experience with troubleshooting and performance tuning in lab and production environments

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience implementing high-split and mid-split architectures
  • Familiarity with lab testing, bug resolution, and feature validation for emerging technologies
  • Proven ability to mentor peers and contribute to team knowledge sharing
  • Demonstrated initiative in learning new platforms and contributing to business innovation
