Wieland is hiring a Maintenance Technician . The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for independently and collaboratively troubleshoot industrial electromechanical systems and machinery, operating within the maintenance department. This role is located in Wheeling, IL and will be fully on-site.

Hourly Pay Range : $28.00-$43.00 / hour

Work Schedule :

1st Shift : 7 : 00am-3 : 00pm M-F

2nd shift 3 : 00pm-11 : 00pm M-F

3rd shift 11 : 00pm-7 : 00am M-F

Pay Schedule : Bi-weekly

Responsibilities

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities :

Interface with machine operators to understand and determine the cause of machine issues

• Ensure operation of machinery and other production equipment by completing preventive maintenance
• Proficient in the use of hand and power tools. Must be able to supply own stocked toolbox
• Able to diagnose defective mechanical parts and disassemble the components for repair using hoists, forklifts, and other equipment
• Fabricate and / or repair machine parts using equipment such as measuring devices, mills, lathes, drill presses, and welders
• Observe all OSHA and NFPA regulations and wear proper Personal Protective Equipment
• Coordinate with all departments, supervisor, and department manager
