About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Experience : Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care experience in ICU

License : Active RN license required

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS

Must-Have :

• Experience in managing patients with multisystem organ dysfunction / failure
• Proficient in ventilator management and care of ventilated patients
• Capable of interpreting arterial blood gases and dysrhythmias
• Skilled in central line care and management

Description :

The position is for a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit working three 12-hour night shifts.

Weekends are required every other week, with a maximum of five days off, including no more than two consecutive days.

No time off requests are allowed during holidays or the day before or after holidays.

Floating to different units within the facility may be required based on staffing needs.

ICU RNs will float between various ICU units and may be asked to float to medical-surgical units if necessary.

The first week will include orientation and precepting shifts during the day.

The preferred candidates are those who live within 75 miles of the facility.

This role includes working with a diverse patient population requiring critical care and advanced nursing skills.

All selected candidates must provide proof of vaccinations prior to their start date and comply with facility policies throughout the assignment.
