• This position can be filled by a Helper through an Apprentice 3rd year based on the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate.
• This position has a 60-minute reporting requirement : the selected candidatemust live within 60minutesof the job site.

BUSINESS UNIT :

This position is a Transmission function within the Asset Management group.

JOB DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES :

Construct Build and Maintain Overhead Transmission Line Electric Facilities with primary voltages ranging from 69KV-500 KV including but not limited to :

Minimum Education :

Minimum experience required of the position :

Helper 1st Year 0 years experience required

Apprentice 1st Year Completion of an accredited Lineworker Training program OR prior demonstrated linework experience required

Apprentice II2 years of experience required

Apprentice III3 years of experience required

As a condition of employment this position requires a pre-employment Fitness for Duty exam

Minimum Knowledge Skills and Abilities :

Ability to work with others and maintain a positive attitude in extreme working situations andan ever-changing work environment

EEI Testing :

One way that Entergy has found to identify and assess the abilities and skills needed for certain jobs is through pre-employment testing.
