Additional Information About the Role Missouri Baptist Medical Center has an opportunity for a Staffing Coordinator. This position supports staffing and payroll needs for several units within the hospital. This position has a flexible work schedule, with start times between 6a-10a, Monday-Friday. Hybrid work available after training period. Previous experience working with scheduling systems and payroll is a plus! Overview Missouri Baptist Medical Center, an acute care hospital in St. Louis County, offers a full continuum of medical and surgical services, including heart care, cancer, women and infants, breast health, gastrointestinal, orthopedic, stroke, therapy, wound and pain management services. The Nursing Office at Missouri Baptist Medical Center supports the scheduling and placement of central staffing resources throughout the hospital. Additionally, the Nursing Office team provides guidance and communication to all nursing and ancillary staff as directed by senior nursing leadership. Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose Responsible for coordinating the allocation of staffing activities within the department. May perform other departmental support duties, including payroll functions. Responsibilities Allocates permanent and temporary staff to provide daily staffing coverage. Evaluates staffing levels and skill mix, and quantity needed to provide appropriate coverage.. Assists with front nursing office and administration duties as needed. Reviews and approves departmental time tracking for payroll purposes.
