Project Manager
CTG is seeking to fill a Project Manager opening for our client in Phoenix, AZ. Location : Phoenix, AZ Duration : 12 months Duties : Lead cross-functional project teams in delivering custom development solutions or managing the maintenance and support of applications. Ensure projects are completed within defined scope, budget, and timelines while meeting business requirements and contractual obligations. Manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and staffing requirements across IBM, client employees, and third-party vendors. Allocate resources effectively to ensure successful execution of project plans. Apply project management methodologies and tools to establish communication plans and reporting structures. Provide regular project status updates and reporting to stakeholders. Monitor risks, resolve issues, and ensure deliverables align with organizational objectives. Foster collaboration across technical and business teams to achieve project success. Skills : Strong leadership and organizational skills. Proficiency with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid). Expertise with project management tools (MS Project, Jira, or similar). Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources across multiple teams. Excellent problem-solving and risk management abilities. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Experience : Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably within application development and support. Proven experience leading cross-functional teams in delivering IT solutions. Experience managing third-party vendors and large-scale projects. Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
