Specialty Pharmacist (Oncology) - Downey, CA

We're looking for a Clinical Pharmacist with oncology experience to serve as a Pharmacist supporting our customer site, an oncology clinic, in Downey, CA. About the Role

As a pivotal member of the House Rx team, you will work closely with specialty care clinics to optimize outcomes for specialty patients and improve the specialty pharmacy experience for patients and their caregivers. This is an onsite role in Downey, CA.

What You'll Do

• Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy laws, Board of Pharmacy regulations, DEA, and all other standards, as applicable
• Oversee daily pharmacy operations to ensure accurate dispensing, patient safety, and adherence to clinical protocols
• Maintain and enforce policies and procedures for prescription processing, drug storage, and security
• Lead audits, maintain records, and coordinate responses for regulatory bodies and accrediting organizations
• Supervise and train pharmacists, technicians, and support staff to ensure quality standards and continuing education compliance
• Collaborate with providers and clinic staff to support coordinated patient care, including formulary optimization and medication access
• Investigate and resolve medication incidents, ensuring proper documentation and continuous quality improvement
• Ensure proper inventory management, including procurement, temperature-sensitive drug handling, and recall processes
• Participate in strategic planning to support pharmacy growth, service line expansion, and value-based care initiatives
• Act as the pharmacy's clinical expert, supporting patient counseling, therapeutic substitution, and prior authorization reviews
• Be the workflow expert is all aspects of the pharmacy from prescription received to dispensed

In particular, we offer :

Expected Hourly Rate : $65-$75 / hr

This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary / wage. The actual base salary / wage will depend on several factors, including experience, knowledge, and skills. Actual compensation packages may include other elements, equity, paid time off and benefits.
