We are looking for an experienced Controller to oversee financial operations and provide strategic guidance for our manufacturing operations in Opa Locka, Florida. This role requires a strong background in managing work-in-progress inventory and leading a small team to ensure accurate financial reporting and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in document management and a proven ability to streamline processes.
Responsibilities :
- Manage and oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, reporting, and forecasting.
- Supervise and mentor a team of two, ensuring accurate and timely completion of financial tasks.
- Maintain and monitor work-in-progress inventory, ensuring proper tracking and valuation.
- Develop and implement effective document control processes to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Oversee the scanning, compiling, and organization of critical financial and operational documents.
- Collaborate with various departments to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Prepare detailed financial reports and present findings to senior leadership.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Identify areas for operational improvement and recommend actionable solutions.
- Proven experience in a Controller or similar financial leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong expertise in managing work-in-progress inventory and related accounting processes.
- Proficiency in document control, including document scanning, compiling, and organization.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a small team.
