Responsibilities of the Business Reporting Analyst :
The analyst will collect and synthesize technical data and will organize the information in a manner that will be readily accessible for sales, order management, supply chain and inventory management. The data analyst will translate the data in such a way that is understandable to future users.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases / data systems.
- Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.
- Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
- Use data to answer key questions about the business.
- Deliver takeaways from data with statistical significance.
Requirements for the Business Reporting Analyst :
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Proficient with data management software such as Excel at a minimum.Technological and computer knowledge, especially BI softwareProper knowledge on business policies and regulationsAn understanding of budgeting procedures, methods, evaluation criteria and resource planningEducation and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a business or technical field.3 years of professional experience. Analyst role preferable
