HR Business Partner
Location : NW Houston located near the Beltway / Clay Rd. Length : Temporary role lasting 6 months, could get extended Hours : PART TIME hours are 9a-1p, Monday through Friday Pay Rate : $33.00 - $45.00 / hr. Reports To : HR Director Additional Information : They're looking for someone with an outgoing personality who can meet with leaders throughout the business unit including EVP, VP, Directors, Sr. Manager, Managers, and Employees. This person should be eager to come in and be involved in completing admin related work such as offer letters, job descriptions, etc. but outgoing enough to meet with managers in the business.
Purpose & Scope : Deliver HR guidance and support to a designated client group, ensuring both operational and strategic objectives are met while maintaining a balance between business needs and employee interests. Serve as a trusted advisor to business unit senior leadership, aligning the priorities of the business line with the broader People & Culture goals of the organization.
Key Responsibilities :
- Partner with business leaders to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
- Provide insights and recommendations on workforce planning, organizational design, and change management.
- Support talent acquisition efforts and participate in high-level recruitment decisions.
- Lead performance management processes and coach managers on goal setting and feedback.
- Identify training needs and support leadership development programs.
- Serve as a trusted advisor for employee relations issues.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Conduct investigations and recommend corrective action if needed.
- Consult with managers on salary structures, promotions, and compensation adjustments.
- Support annual compensation planning and benefits communication.
- Advise business unit leaders and serve as point-of-contact for global business units and help implement business unit's workforce strategy with respect to recruitment, retention, succession planning, engagement, organizational development, etc.
- Embrace continuous improvement and application of new tools and methods in line with People strategy.
- Coordinate closely with all other HRBPs to ensure fairness and alignment across the company and support global People strategy.
Job Qualifications & Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in human resource management, Business Administration, or another related field.1-7 years of progressive HR experience, including : At least 1-2 years in an HR Generalist or HR Business Partner role Experience supporting managers and advising on complex HR matters
