The ITSS group is building a team to support the dynamic people platform as it expands our technologies into markets across the world. As an SRE, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of our LearningNow and Oracle-based systems, with a particular focus on HCM applications, cloud infrastructure, and digital assistant integrations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build scalable, resilient systems, automate processes, and implement best practices that drive operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities :
Reliability and Performance Optimization
- Ensure 24 / 7 availability and reliability of Oracle HCM applications and Oracle Digital Assistant services on OCI.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, optimize resource utilization, and ensure system scalability to support high availability.
- Monitor system health, define SLAs, and use data to ensure optimal performance.
Incident Management and Root Cause Analysis
Respond to and troubleshoot production incidents, ensuring quick mitigation and resolution with minimal impact.Conduct post-incident reviews and root cause analyses to prevent future occurrences.Create and maintain runbooks and documentation for common issues and resolutions.Monitoring and Observability
Set up, configure, and manage monitoring and logging solutions (e.g., Oracle Management Cloud, DataDog) to detect and predict issues proactively.Enhance visibility into the systems by implementing observability tools and dashboards that help track performance and availability metrics.Collaboration and Best Practices
Work closely with DevOps, software engineering, and product teams to embed reliability and performance best practices into the development lifecycle.Share knowledge and mentor team members to promote a culture of continuous improvement and learning.Required Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).3+ years of experience as an SRE, DevOps Engineer, or in a similar role with a strong focus on Oracle solutions.Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.Knowledge of monitoring and logging frameworks (e.g., DataDog, Oracle Management Cloud).Solid understanding of cloud security, network configuration, and best practices for cloud infrastructure.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with an ability to work under pressure.Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a collaborative and proactive approach.Salary Range : $104,000 to $129,900 annually + bonus eligibility.
