As a Process Engineer at GEA, , you would be responsible for supporting customers by optimizing GEA centrifugal equipment after delivery, supporting sales development, spearheading R&D efforts for new product development, and much more.

What Youll Do :

Evaluate and improve on processes for assigned GEA Markets, with the emphasis of GEA mechanical separation technology.

Support Sales Engineers in developing innovative solutions for customers.

Improve process capability and production volume while maintaining and improving quality standards.

Prepare and process samples for spin down studies and facilitate Design of Experiments for further testing and product development.

Collect, record, and transcribe data in detailed reports.

Maintain testing equipment as required and needed for job responsibilities.

Develop and implement systems that optimize all phases of production process (both upstream and downstream of GEA equipment)

Ability to train customers on proper and safe use of GEA equipment.

Ability to train other GEA team members on both equipment and processes.

Work with Project Engineering to develop cost-effective and efficient solutions for future sales projects.

Works effectively in a Team based work environment.

Ability to read / interpret P&IDs, General Arrangement (Mechanical Drawings), Electrical Schematics, and other engineering documentation.

Ability to work in multiple GEA markets, with the emphasis on the ethanol, protein, starch, or industrial biotech industries

Familiarity with process controls, motor controls, instrumentation, automation principles, and industrial networking.

Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures utilized in machine / system control systems.

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

Strong communication skills.

Position reports to the Sales Director.

Your Profile / Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 to 10 years of industry experience (preferably ethanol, protein, starch, or industrial biotech industries)

Microsoft Office Suite knowledge

Will be traveling up to, but not exceeding 75% of the time in North America (Valid Passport Required).
