Description : Position Summary
The essential duty of the RBHS Manager encompasses overseeing, coordinating, and administering the delivery of community-based behavioral health services across the state. This pivotal role involves the strategic recruitment of RBHS personnel and clientele.
The range of services provided by the Rehabilitative Behavioral Health Services team encompasses a variety of key mental health support functions, including, but not limited to, comprehensive assessments, the creation of personalized service plans, effective crisis intervention, and diligent monitoring of service usage. These services are connected to fostering both internal and external collaborative efforts among agencies, managing authorization requests, and ensuring efficient utilization of resources. The role of the RBHS Manager is essential in overseeing the distribution of new client referrals and maintaining attentive oversight of service utilization patterns. Additionally, this individual plays a crucial role in the professional development of all RBHS personnel through structured training programs. This multi-layered position is essential in ensuring that the clients receive high-quality behavioral health services.

Supervisory Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
Master’s degree in human services or related field with 3 years of supervisory experience highly preferred. Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of document supervisory experience in human services or related field required.
Preferred : Licensed practitioner in behavioral health in South Carolina :
