Job Description :

Job Family Definition :

The job family spans across multiple engineering disciplines including HPE Aruba Networking and Juniper / Mist Product lines. Work consists of designing, developing, analyzing, troubleshooting and debugging systems, software and solutions for research and / or research development of product, services, and solutions for HPE’s portfolio. Requires a broad knowledge and application of engineering disciplines, methodologies and tools including Campus and Branch Networking.  Requires hands-on lab configuration experience with networking hardware and software.

Contributions have visible technical impact on a Sales Enablement Teams and provide broad Solutions for the field sales teams.  Applies in-depth professional knowledge and innovative ideas to solve complex problems. Visible contributions improve time-to-market, achieve cost reductions, or satisfy current and future unmet customer needs. Recognized internal authority on key technology area applying innovative principles and ideas. Provides technical leadership for significant project / program work. Leads or participates in cross-functional initiatives and contributes to mentorship and knowledge sharing across the organization.

Responsibilities :

• Develops organization-wide architectures and methodologies for design and development of complex products, platforms, systems, software, and technology across multiple engineering disciplines, platforms and organizations within the Global Business Unit.
• Identifies and evaluates new technologies, innovations, and outsourced development partner relationships for alignment with technology roadmap and business value; creates plans for integration and update into architecture.
• Reviews and evaluates designs and project activities for compliance with technology and development guidelines and standards; integrates suggestions, updates, and innovations into overall architecture.
• Leverages recognized domain expertise, business acumen, and experience to influence decisions of executive business leadership, outsourced development partners, and industry standards groups.
• Provides guidance and mentoring to less- experienced staff members to set an example of engineering design innovation and excellence.
• Create Hands-on lab configuration and technical training documentation to support technical field sales.

The expected salary / wage range for a U.S.-based hire filling this position is provided below. Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education / training, and / or skill level. If this is a sales role, then the listed salary range reflects combined base salary and target-level sales compensation pay. If this is a non-sales role, then the listed salary range reflects base salary only. Variable incentives may also be offered. USD Annual Salary : $119,500.00 - $275,000.00
