Job Title : ICU Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Nursing
Location : Pleasant Prairie, WI 53158
Employment Type : Travel Contract
Contract Length : 13 weeks (Start : 12 / 29 / 2025 – End : 3 / 30 / 2026)
Shift : 3x12-Hour Day Shifts (07 : 00 – 19 : 00), every other weekend required
Hours per Week : 36
Unit : ICU – First Floor
Patient Population : Adults & Geriatrics
Estimated Weekly Salary : $2090 - $2150
Registered Nurse Qualifications
Active Wisconsin or Compact RN license (required at submission)
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (required at submission)
Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience
Strong CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy) skills
Travel nursing experience required
Epic EMR charting experience preferred
Ability to float to IMCU (Intermediate Care / Stepdown) unit as needed
Two supervisor references from the past year, including one from most recent assignment
Flu vaccine required (medical / religious exemptions accepted)
ICU Nurse Responsibilities
Provide high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill adult and geriatric patients in the ICU
Monitor and manage patients receiving advanced therapies : CRRT, ventilator management, vasoactive drips
Assist with procedures : chest tube insertion / removal, arterial line management, central line care
Interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs) and cardiac dysrhythmias
Administer emergency medications and blood products
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams : physical therapy, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, social services
Float to IMCU (stepdown) unit as needed
Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR (preferred)
Follow infection prevention protocols and isolation precautions
