SUMMARY
The Valet Parking Attendant ("Atendiente de Estacionamiento") provides a warm and professional first impression for guests arriving. This position is responsible for safely parking and retrieving guest vehicles, assisting with luggage, and creating a welcoming experience that reflects the resort’s commitment to exceptional guest service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Provides a warm and professional welcome for all guests upon arrival, creating a positive first impression.Anticipates guest needs by offering timely assistance with luggage, directions, and information about resort amenities and local attractions.Ensures luggage and golf clubs are securely stored and promptly retrieved when needed.Delivers guest messages, packages, and amenities to rooms and meeting spaces in a professional and timely manner.Assists in arranging guest transportation as needed.Safely drives, parks, and retrieves guest vehicles, adhering to traffic regulations, posted speed limits, and hotel safety procedures; yields to pedestrians at all times.
Conducts thorough inspections of vehicles for pre-existing damage; clearly notes any findings on claim tickets.Secures and organizes all vehicle keys, ensuring accountability and proper storage at all times.Quickly retrieves vehicles, ensuring timely service and a positive guest experience.Answers department telephones with a courteous tone and professional etiquette.Collaborates with other departments to ensure guest needs are met efficiently.Performs additional duties and responsibilities as directed by the leadership team.Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
At least 1-2 years of relevant experience and / or training.A combination of experience, education, and / or training may be substituted for either requirement.Previous similar position in a hotel, preferably in a luxury hotel, or similar business entity preferred.Must have an unexpired and valid driver's license with no recent violations.For insurance purposes, candidates must be over 21 years of age.Must be able to drive all vehicle types.Ability to drive both manual and automatic.Availability to work on weekends and holidays is required.Ability to always maintain a friendly, professional, team-oriented, positive demeanor and diplomatic attitude, especially under stress or challenges.Ability to stand, kneel, squat for prolonged periods of time, up to and including, the entire shift and lift up to 50 lbs.The following position will be filled in accordance with the process set forth in California Labor Code Section and San Diego Municipal Code et. seq.The pay scale posted is the salary or hourly wage range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for the position during the first year of employment. The posted range does NOT include potential additional types of compensation, such as gratuities, service charges, commissions, or bonuses.
