We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and experienced Permanent Tax Accountant to join our team in the Accounting and Finance industry. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients and to be part of a team that values the highest standards of quality, integrity, and respect. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, analyzing, and reviewing tax returns and financial reports, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws, and providing strategic tax planning advice.

Responsibilities :

1. Prepare and review complex tax returns (individual, corporate, partnership, multi-state, etc.), ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws and regulations.

2. Conduct thorough tax research and interpret tax laws to provide strategic tax planning advice.

3. Analyze financial documents and reports to identify potential tax credits, exemptions, and deductions.

4. Liaise with tax authorities and represent clients in tax audits when necessary.

5. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional client service and participating in client meetings.

6. Keep up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and communicate the potential impact to clients and team members.

7. Collaborate with internal teams to streamline tax preparation processes and improve efficiency.

8. Provide training and guidance to junior staff on tax preparation and planning.

Qualifications :

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is highly desirable.

2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Tax Accountant, with a strong understanding of tax laws and regulations.

3. Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret and apply tax laws to client situations.

4. Proven experience in preparing and reviewing complex tax returns.

5. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.

6. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts to clients and team members.

7. Proficiency in tax preparation and research software.

8. High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
