Job Title : CNC Programmer and Machinist

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer with expertise in MazaCAM programming for specific machinery. The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills, hands-on machining experience, and the ability to optimize processes for efficiency and precision.

Responsibilities

  • Program and operate CNC machines using MazaCAM for QTE-300M SG and QT-450M models.
  • Set up and troubleshoot CNC lathes to ensure optimal performance.
  • Optimize machining processes to enhance efficiency and precision.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality production standards.

Essential Skills

  • Proven experience in CNC programming with MazaCAM for specific machine models.
  • Strong knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
  • Familiarity with controls, tooling, and machining best practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Experience with CNC lathe setup, troubleshooting, and process optimization.

    • Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Willingness and ability to travel to Italy one week per month.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

    • Work Environment

    This is an onsite role with flexible scheduling options as long as it aligns with the first shift. Candidates have the opportunity to travel and work out of Padua, Italy, if interested.

    Job Type & Location

    This is a Permanent position based out of New Haven, Connecticut.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $140000.00 / yr.
