Client is seeking a Trauma Program Manager to oversee and promote optimal care for critically injured patients. This role combines clinical practice, program management, education, and quality improvement initiatives within the trauma department.
The Trauma Program Manager ensures the trauma registry and Quality Improvement reports are maintained, supports staff education, monitors patient progress, and manages day-to-day operations of trauma services.
This position reports to the Associate Administrator and actively participates in staffing, budget planning, leadership, and continuous improvement of trauma care.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor care of critically injured patients, ensuring adherence to standards of practice.
- Maintain trauma registry and prepare Quality Improvement reports.
- Develop and implement educational programs for all personnel involved in trauma care (prevention through post-care).
- Monitor patient progress during hospitalization.
- Oversee staffing, scheduling, and departmental operations.
- Participate in budgeting, planning, and strategic leadership initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with hospital, state, and federal regulations.
Education & Experience
