Physical Therapist- Home Health Care - Full Time

GENERAL SUMMARY :

Under general supervision of the therapy supervisor implements medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs, (e.g., heat water, exercise, etc.) directed towards relieving pain and / or restoring physical functions to rehabilitative clients.

EDUCATION :

A specific level of technical knowledge and the applications of various treatment interventions in order to relieve pain and / or restore a physiological function.

• This level of knowledge is generally obtained through the completion of an accredited bachelor's level program in Physical Therapy.

LICENSE / CERTIFICATIONS :

QUALIFICATIONS :

The ability to lift and position clients and to perform treatment modalities.

A high level of interpersonal skill is required to effectively interface with clients and physicians.

Must possess a current State of Michigan driver's license and satisfactory driving record.

Must have reliable transportation and a telephone.
