Proven experience reviewing a wide range of tax return types. Strong leadership, communication, and client management skills. Experience managing engagements independently. Proficiency with CCH Access and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Soni's Client is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to support firm growth and lead a high-performing tax team. This hybrid / remote role is based out of Cherry Hill, NJ and offers strong visibility, client interaction, and leadership opportunities.
Key Responsibilities of the Tax Manager :
- Supervise, train, and mentor tax staff across multiple engagements.
- Review individual, corporate, partnership, fiduciary, and estate tax returns.
- Manage full engagement lifecycle from planning through delivery.
- Provide clear, constructive feedback to support staff development.
- Communicate directly with clients; build and maintain strong relationships.
- Coordinate workflow across multiple simultaneous projects.
- Support business development through networking and community involvement.
- Stay updated on tax laws and accounting standards.
- Prepare accurate client invoices.
- Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy, and compliance.
Qualifications & Requirements of the Tax Manager :
Compensation : $150,000 to $160,000 annually
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
