A Day in the Life

While this is a remote position not located at a physical Medtronic site the candidate hired will be required to reside within the territory and drive to multiple accounts throughout the region. A valid drivers license is essential for this role.

POSITION DESCRIPTION :

To gain market share in the Cardiac Rhythm Management (C RM ) business by promoting selling and servicing Medtronics Pacing products within assigned territory.

CRM seeks collaborative candidates who are patient-centric passionate and who represent the same wide variety of life experiences as our patients. CRM Sales representatives are regularly on call. Must have ability to work and / or travel outside of normal business hours.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES :

Conduct sales calls to promote sell and service Medtronics CR M products and services to exis ting and competitive customers

Implement quarterly sales plan and achieve sales goals and objectives . Maintain knowledge of diverse Medtronic products and support sales efforts .

Coordinate customer activities at all meetings as assigned . Complete administrative reporting as assigned (for example : expense reports account profiles and analysis daily planners competitiv e updates and inventory log)

Provide ongoing field intelligence reports on competitive activity changes in markets distribution and pricing as well as input on customer preferences and product features. Cost-eff ectively manage time and assets

Maintain adequate inventory (trunk stock) and assist in the realloc ation and delivery of product

Effectively utilize sales collateral to support pr omotional and territorial needs

Technical / Educational

Train and educate both existing and competitive customers to gain incremental business

Maintain proficient level of product knowledge in all assigned product lines

Advise customers on a continuing basis regarding per formance of assigned products

Provide 24-hour territory coverage (includin g holidays weekends evenings)

MUST HAVE : BASIC QUALIFICATIONS :

IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION THE FOLLOWING BASIC QUALIFICATIONS MUST BE EVIDENT ON YOUR RESUME

Bachelors degree

3 years medical sales experience (selling physician preference products) in hospital or specialty clinic environment or 1 year of Medtronic CR M Clinical Specialist experience and two years of previous work experience

NICE TO HAVE : DESIRED / PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

Preference will be given to local qualified candidates and candidates with Medtronic experience

Demonstrable success in previous employment indicating high level of sales performance

5 years medical sales experience in hospital environment selling to interventional cardiologists or electrophysiologists or cardiothoracic surgeons

Work and Travel Requirements

Available / willing to wo rk / travel weekends and evenings

This position requires on-call time

Continuous v erbal and written communication

Ability to transport product / equipment from car to hospital

Sitting standing and / or walking for up to eight plus hours per day

Environmental exposures include eye protection infectious disease and radiation

Ability to travel extensively with ease (approx. 10% of time)

Must be able to drive approximately 80% of the time within assigned territory

Must have a valid drivers license and active vehicle insurance policy . In addition your driving record will be reviewed and will be considered as part of your application

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD) : $35000.00 - $35000.00

The base salary range is applicable across the United States excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience certification / education market conditions and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
