Industrial Engineer

Pay : $40 / hr (possibly more depending on experience)

Location : Shreveport, LA

Schedule : Full-time, rotating schedule (must be willing to work days, nights, and weekends)

About the Role

We are seeking an Industrial Engineer with 480 experience and hands-on plant operations experience. This position plays a key role in improving production processes, increasing efficiency, and supporting safe and reliable plant performance.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Apply industrial engineering principles to evaluate and improve manufacturing processes.
  • Utilize 480 experience to support workflow analysis, time studies, and process optimization.
  • Work closely with operations, maintenance, and quality teams to improve plant performance.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to reduce downtime, scrap, and inefficiencies.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret production data to identify trends and recommend solutions.
  • Assist in capacity planning, production scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean and Six Sigma projects.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field required.
  • 480 experience required (capstone, internship, or documented project-based engineering experience).
  • Previous experience working in a plant or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skills.
  • Ability to interpret technical data, process flows, and performance metrics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

    • LOCATION REQUIREMENT :

    This is a 100% on-site position located in Shreveport, Louisiana

    To be considered, candidates must either :

  • Currently live within a commutable distance , or
  • Be planning to relocate to the Shreveport area at their own expense
