A leading dealer and distributor of Commercial Print Finishing Equipment is looking for a Director of Technical Support to work in their Corporate offices in Boston. They are expanding their support team to work regionally at customer sites while traveling regionally. This is a shift from their traditional support of having their technical staff travel nationally. They have a great Demonstration and Training office with over 20,000 square feet dedicated to helping customers better understand and maintain their equipment. They have 2 dedicated trainers onsite while having a head count of around 40 technicians around the US. There are two managers who manage their two main equipment lines for the US.
They are looking for someone who has managed a national service organization and understands how to work with OEM partners. And help figure out new service contracts for customers that help establish their service organization as a revenue source. A BS degree is desired. At least 5 years of service management is required. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the printing or packaging equipment trades, helping maintain and build a service organization. Compensation ranges from $100k to $150k; relocation assistance can be extended. If you'd like to learn more about the role, please submit a resume for consideration. If you are not but know someone who is a service manager and is open to talking about changing roles, please pass this along to them. I appreciate any referrals. Thank you for allowing NPPS the opportunity to discuss a significant field service leadership role in the commercial printing trades.
