POSITION SUMMARY
The Chief Information Technology & Security Officer (CITSO) serves as a strategic and operational leader responsible for the comprehensive oversight of Information Technology, Enterprise Architecture, and Cybersecurity Governance across Atlas Healthcare Partners and its network of Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs). This hybrid executive role integrates technology leadership with security stewardship to ensure the alignment of IT capabilities with the organization's high-growth, partnership-driven business model.
As the principal architect of Atlas's technology vision, the CITSO will define and execute a forward-looking IT and cybersecurity strategy that supports scalable growth, operational excellence, and clinical integration. This includes the design and deployment of robust, interoperable infrastructure; the implementation of enterprise-wide systems; and the development of secure, compliant platforms that enable seamless connectivity with Health System Partners. The CITSO is accountable for the performance, integrity, and security of Atlas's digital ecosystem, including infrastructure, applications, data, and user environments. This role demands a visionary leader with deep expertise in healthcare IT, cybersecurity, and enterprise transformation, capable of driving innovation while maintaining rigorous standards of security and compliance.
Key responsibilities include :
Essential Functions
Develop and execute IT and cybersecurity strategies that align with business objectives and deliver measurable ROI.
Lead and manage enterprise-wide IT operations, including systems analysis, design, implementation, and support.
Direct the design, deployment, and optimization of data, applications, software, and hardware across the enterprise.
Establish and maintain a comprehensive cybersecurity framework to protect organizational assets.
Ensure adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and contractual obligations, including HIPAA.
Approve and manage acquisition of hardware, software, and services in a fiscally responsible manner.
Lead enterprise data integration and analytics initiatives, including management of the Atlas Data Lake.
Collaborate with Finance leadership to develop and manage IT budgets.
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Ensure seamless integration of IT and information security functions to maximize operational efficiency.
Perform other duties as assigned to support organizational goals and strategic initiatives.
Performs all functions according to established policies, procedures, regulatory and accreditation requirements, as well as applicable professional standards. Provides all customers with an excellent service experience by consistently demonstrating our core and leader behaviors each and every day.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Deep, proven expertise in healthcare IT integration and principles of Interoperability , specifically connecting provider systems using Electronic Health Record (EHR) platforms (Epic, Cerner, Meditech, etc.) to industry platforms like Health Information Exchanges.
