Job Description Summary :
Level I Sterile Processing Tech is an entry-level position. Incumbents are expected to learn the full range of duties / responsibilities. Level I Tech must promote to Level II Tech within six months of employment.
Job Requirements, Prerequisites and Essential Functions :
EDUCATION
High School diploma (GED) preferred
EXPERIENCE
Level II : Two year recent experience in OR and / or SPD preferred
LICENSURE AND CERTIFICATIONS
CCST - Certified Registered Central Service Tech or
CSPD - Certified Sterile Processing / Distribution Tech or
CSPT - Certified Sterile Processing Tech
Basic Life Support Required at hire
PREREQUISITE SKILLS
1. Knowledge of case cart assembly
2. Knowledge of surgical instrumentation
3. Knowledge of medical terminology
4. General knowledge of implants & surgical supplies
5. Knowledge of safe practices, one-way flow, and infection control

Compensation :
The posted pay range complies with applicable law and reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this role. Individual pay is set by skills, experience, qualifications, and internal / market equity, consistent with MarinHealth's compensation philosophy. Positions covered by collective bargaining agreements are governed by those agreements.
