1. Unit Name : Level 2B - Special Care Nursery.

2. Unit Description : 25 bed unit which encompasses, L&D, PP, NBN, 2 ORs, 2 ANU rooms, RR.

3. Years of Experience Required : 3.

4. Skill Sets Required : Special Care Nursery & Newborn Care.

5. Floating Required : No.

6. Rotating Shifts Required : Day Rotate is (7a-7p, 11a-11p, 7p-7a) with 1 Night of Call.

Eves & Nights Shifts do not rotate.

7. Clinician to Patient Ratio : L&D 1 : 2-3 Evals, 1 : 1 active labor, magnesium gtt or EPIDURAL.

PP 1 : 3-4.

8. Patient Population : All.

9. Bed Count : 5 LD Rooms, 12 PP, 2 ORs @ RR, 2 ANU with 4 beds.

10. Census : Average daily censusmother, babies and labor.

11. EMR (Charting System) : EPIC.

12. Certifications Required : BLS & NRP.
