Job Title : Backend Infrastructure Engineer

Location : San Francisco, CA (In-office, 5 days a week)

Compensation : Up to $210,000 + Comprehensive Benefits

About the Role :

Were looking for a talented Backend Infrastructure Engineer to join a fast-moving, high-growth team in San Francisco. This role involves building scalable systems, deploying and managing infrastructure, and creating tools to optimize workflows. Youll play a critical part in reshaping workflows in a cutting-edge industry while working alongside an ambitious and dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems and services.
  • Set up, monitor, and manage alerting systems for performance and reliability.
  • Deploy and manage web services using Linux , Terraform , cloud platforms like Google Cloud or AWS , and container technologies like Kubernetes (K8s) and Docker .
  • Collaborate on the design and documentation of RESTful APIs .
  • Build and maintain CI / CD pipelines and ensure best practices for deployment and testing.
  • Manage databases, particularly Postgres , for performance and scalability.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure system reliability.

What Were Looking For :

  • 3-8 years of experience as a Backend or Infrastructure Engineer.
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring and alerting systems.
  • Proficiency with Python and frameworks like Flask or Django .
  • Strong understanding of CI / CD practices and build systems.
  • Experience working in high-growth environments or holding a degree in Computer Science from a top-tier university.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, working extended hours as needed.
  • Nice-to-Have Skills :

  • Experience with image processing or building agentic AI systems.
  • Familiarity with the medical industry, though not required.
  • Work Authorization :

    The role is open to candidates with TN, H1B, and O1 visas.
