Sr. Staffing & Scheduling Coordinator

BJC Home Care is looking for an organized PRN Senior Staffing Coordinator to assist on a regular basis. Schedule : PRN, weekdays and weekends available, hours vary between 7 : 30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Position requires registration with the Family Care Safety registry.

Overview : BJC Home Care offers patients and their families a complete range of home care services including skilled nursing services, adult and pediatric hospice and supportive care, rehabilitation therapy, home infusion therapy, infusion treatment rooms, home medical equipment, and high-tech respiratory care. The Metro St. Louis Intermittent Home Care Department of BJC Home Care Services provides home visits to patients in the metropolitan St. Louis area and several nearby counties with 24 hour on-call home care nursing supervision. Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose : Create and maintain schedules for a multidisciplinary team of clinicians in a manner that supports exceptional patient care and best practices.

Responsibilities :

• Makes independent decisions regarding daily staffing of clients with clinical support from the patient care coordinator, supervisor or director.
• Ability to grasp home health regulations pertaining to timely initiation of care and schedule in accordance with those regulations.
• Must have the ability to learn a complex scheduling software program and its associated processes.
• Monitors schedules and proactively communicates with clinicians and charge nurse.
