Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant

Location : Victorian Post Acute

Position Type :

  • In-House Therapy Program
  • Rate : Starting at $50 per hour
  • New Grads Welcome
  • Full Time, Part Time and PRN

Overview :

Victorian Post Acute is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team. We provide long and short-term care, skilled nursing, and rehabilitation in a welcoming environment. This position offers an excellent opportunity for new graduates to grow in their professional journey.

    • Job Description :

  • Patient Treatment : Treat patients according to the Occupational Therapist's directives and physician treatment plans.
  • Documentation : Record daily treatment notes and weekly progress notes per OT Board requirements.
  • Communication : Maintain clear communication with supervisors and health team members regarding patient progress and care plans.
  • Training Support : Assist the nursing department by training Restorative Aides and instructing patient families or staff on maintenance programs and caregiver training.
  • Discharge Planning : Participate in discharge planning as needed.
  • Equipment Maintenance : Report any issues with department equipment to ensure proper functioning and hygiene in the treatment area.

    • Required License or Certification :

  • Valid Occupational Therapist Assistant License
