The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife intends to upgrade the functionality and tools available on the ODFW website Oregon Conservation Strategy (OCS) ( The OCS is a blueprint for conservation in Oregon for ODFW, our partners, and the public and the OCS provides a shared set of priorities addressing Oregon's conservation needs for fish and wildlife species of greatest conservation concern, and their habitats. ODFW is seeking a contractor to work on the OCS website to incorporate changes associated with the revision and to increase access to vital information on conserving Oregon's fish and wildlife species and habitats. The OCS website was created by a contractor, Ecotrust DNP (, using a customized platform and software and any updates made to the website will have to occur within the customized framework by Ecotrust.
provides a platform to access resources, information, tools, and spatial information developed within the Oregon Conservation Strategy and the conservation community more broadly. We aim to update the website with a continued focus toward fostering partnerships and promoting the use of information to support statewide conservation priorities. The contractor will update and improve the website to ensure that the various sections of the OCS are incorporated and displayed in a well-designed and functional way. Updates to the website would include, but are not limited to : improving search tools, developing navigational tools, expanding formatting options, upgrading accessibility, and creating exporting tools. The contractor should have expertise in wildlife, fisheries, habitat, marine, forestry, and / or natural resources management and conservation. They should also have experience in communications, website development, economic analysis, data modeling, software development, and spatial analysis. The ideal candidate will have experience working with a diverse set of public and private partners.
