We have an opportunity for an electrical engineer who is seeking to utilize their strong academic background and experience in RF / Microwave system theory and design including architectures subsystems components and Active Electronically Steered Antennas (AESAs). This will include oversight of material delivery build and test. The work will involve support in production as well as suppliers (as needed). This role involves cross functional collaboration and basic understanding of module level RF test power electronics and circuit design.

Tasks include supporting development or production and technical management of both engineering disciplines and suppliers for programs throughout the product life cycle.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter with proven project organization and execution skills multi-tasking and verbal / written communication and presentation skills and experience in a budget and schedule critical environment. Candidates should lead multi-discipline teams to develop systems from concept through integration and production and develop solutions to a variety of technical problems of large scope and complexity. A candidate willing to collaborate and coordinate with Operations Supply Chain Quality and other Engineering disciplines to resolve issues. Qualified candidates must have experience with digital analog and / or RF testing and experience debugging complex circuit card assemblies or electro-mechanical systems. Knowledge of RF / microwave devices required.

What You Will Do

• Support development or production for programs throughout the product life cycle.
• Factory and supplier support for Seeker and Fuze
• Technical management of both engineering disciplines and suppliers
• Some travel to integration sites plus customer and subcontractor facilities may be required.

Qualifications You Must Have

Experience with power electronics control systems signal processing and / or RF / microwave.

Qualifications We Prefer

Ability to diagnose and resolve electrical issues in complex systems.

Ability to clearly communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Experience working in multidisciplinary teams.

Experience managing engineering projects from conception through production.

Familiarity with Root Cause Corrective Action

Ability to drive innovation and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

The salary range for this role is 82000 USD - 164000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education / training and key skills.
