Assist design engineers with circuit schematics, PCB layout (Altium), and component selection.
Support purchasing / manufacturing staff in sourcing alternative parts and verifying form / fit / function requirements.
Transfer designs to production by creating / modifying BOMs, wire harnesses, and cable drawings.
Investigate hardware design issues using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other test equipment.
Set up and run automated tests to evaluate and document performance.
Design / support test fixtures and board testers for production.
Collaborate with mechanical engineers on fit, and firmware engineers on hardware / firmware debugging.
Perform failure analysis on production / customer units, propose solutions, and write / review ECNs.
Work safely with live electrical equipment up to 480V.
What you must have :
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering or related field.
Knowledge of test equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, DMMs, etc.).
Experience with tools such as Altium, PADS, Orcad, Excel / Word, SAPS, or similar.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Nice to have :
Experience collaborating with cross-discipline teams to bring designs to completion.
Self-starter with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage priorities.
Adaptable to fast-changing technologies and environments.
Creative, eager to learn, and able to multi-task effectively.
Salary / Rate Range : $70,000 - $85,000
