Key Responsibilities :
- Schedule Creation and Management : Developing daily and master schedules for nursing staff (including caregivers medication aides) and other support staff.
- Shift Coverage : Ensuring each shift is adequately staffed based on resident census, call-offs, and scheduled time-off.
- Addressing Staffing Needs : Filling open shifts, managing call-outs, and coordinating with staffing agencies when necessary.
- Time-Off Management : Reviewing and approving time-off requests, and communicating accommodations to staff.
- Attendance Tracking : Monitoring employee attendance (tardiness, absences), and reporting issues to management.
- Communication : Maintaining clear communication with staff regarding schedules, changes, and staffing needs.
- Compliance : Ensuring schedules comply with staffing ratios and regulations.
- Administrative Tasks : Assisting with various administrative and clerical tasks, such as updating timecards and maintaining employee files.
