Our Client, a Medical Research company, is looking for a Database Administrator for their Lenexa, KS / Remote location.
Responsibilities :
- Responsible for the administration, optimization, monitoring, tuning and backup / retrieval of enterprise databases.
- Additional responsibilities include creating and maintaining user access, space management, database refreshes, and database security.
- Monitors database for potential problems and creates end-user reports.
- May write and tune SQL or PL / SQL code.
- May participate in data migration activities or work with application development teams to provide database access and knowledge.
- Provides appropriate consulting, interfacing, and training for users.
- Establishes and maintains policies, standard operating procedures, and associated documentation for user interaction with the database environment.
