Centralized Material Estimating Analyst - Level 3
As a Centralized Material Estimating Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial foundation of major programs by developing and validating high-quality material cost estimates. You will partner closely with cross-functional teamsincluding Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Program Managementto build accurate cost projections that support proposals, negotiations, and strategic business decisions. In this role, you will bring together data, requirements, and technical inputs to create defensible Basis of Estimates (BOEs) and ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and internal standards. You will also serve as a subject-matter resource to teammates and stakeholders, helping drive consistency, accuracy, and excellence across the estimating function.

A level 3 employee Typically has 5 - 10 years of professional experience.
Must be a US citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Must have the ability to obtain a secret clearance.
Desired skills
Pricing or functional estimating experience in materials, engineering, operations, and / or Sustainment
Familiarity or experience with FAR, Part 15 proposal requirements
Experience coordinating complex estimates with changing requirements
Experience using proposal pricing systems or BOE tools such as, PROPRICER, APTS, or BOE other tool usage
Experience, with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint at an advanced or expert level
Experience in Tableau
Proven communication and leadership skills

Ability to work remotely
Full-time Remote Telework : The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office / job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.
Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Pay Rate : The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $73,800 - $130,180. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
