Front Office / Receptionist – Smiles of Winters
Location : Winters, CA
Schedule : 4 days per week
Compensation : $23–$26 per hour, DOE

Smiles of Winters is a patient-centered, privately owned dental practice committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care in a warm and welcoming environment. We are seeking a friendly, organized, and reliable Front Office Receptionist to join our team and support our Office Manager, patients, providers, and daily office operations.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with people, thrives in a fast-paced setting, and is dedicated to creating an excellent patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Reception & Front Desk Support
- Greet patients warmly and create a positive first impression
- Manage check-in and check-out processes accurately
- Answer phones professionally and efficiently
- Maintain a courteous, patient-focused atmosphere at all times
Scheduling & Appointment Coordination
Schedule and confirm appointments to support smooth patient flowManage cancellations, no-shows, and recall systemsCoordinate treatment appointments and follow-up visitsAssist in maintaining an organized and productive daily scheduleTreatment Coordination & Presentation
Review treatment plans with patientsClearly explain procedures, recommended treatments, and financial expectationsSupport case acceptance by ensuring patients feel informed and comfortableBilling, Insurance, & Collections
Collect co-pays, deductibles, and patient balances at time of serviceVerify insurance benefits and enter accurate patient informationAssist with billing tasks, including statements and insurance follow-upSupport patient and insurance collections as neededQualifications
Required
Minimum 2 year of experience in a dental front office or similar customer service roleStrong communication and customer service skillsAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentKnowledge of dental scheduling, billing, or insuranceHigh attention to detail, professionalism, and reliabilityPreferred
Bilingual preferred (English / Spanish)Experience with Eaglesoft (preferred but not required)Experience with treatment coordination or financial presentationsUnderstanding of dental terminologyKey Skills & Attributes
