Job Summary :

We are looking for a Telecommunications SUE Utility Locator to join our growing team in Florida.  Our locators are responsible, self -starters who enjoy working outdoors.  We are looking for experienced individuals who are comfortable working independently, detail oriented, committed to safety, and take pride in their work.  Our locators will drive company provided vehicles to job sites and use utility maps and specialized equipment to locate underground telecommunications fiber optic and copper cables to prevent damages for our client’s facilities.

Job Responsibilities (Including, but not limited to) :

• Utilizes the provided mapping tools and other location information, along with locating equipment, to locate underground telecommunication utilities.
• Indicate utility locates through the utilization of paint and flags.
• Operating motor vehicles
• Working outdoors in all types of weather
• Working in the public right of way under variable traffic conditions
• Wearing personal protective equipment
• Perform physical tasks as required to successfully complete day-to-day tasks.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
