Summary :
The skilled RN demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of various nursing practices, specifically in the Nursery, Mother Baby Unit, Postpartum, NICU, PICU, or Acute Pediatric areas. This role entails providing both routine and complex care per patient treatment plans while effectively managing clinical contingencies.
Responsibilities :
- Exhibit competencies in leadership within self, others, or leaders.
- Show flexibility regarding assignment within the ministry.
- Regularly communicate availability for assignments.
- Be adaptable to assignments across multiple units.
- Implement the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients.
- Address the psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families according to practice levels.
- Administer medications and treatments while monitoring side effects and treatment effectiveness following appropriate protocols.
- Document patient history, symptoms, administered medications, and care provided.
- Assess learning needs and educate patients, families, or caregivers while identifying relevant issues and resources.

Education / Skills : Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.Experience : Minimum of 2 years in a Perinatal Services setting (e.g., Nursery, MBU, Postpartum, or NICU).Licenses / Certifications : BLS, PALS (if applicable), RN License (state or compact), NRP, and current STABLE certification required.Work Schedule :
