Position Description : SUMMARY : The IT Administrator will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the companys technology infrastructure, including servers, networks, desktop systems, and software platforms. This individual will work closely with other departments to ensure optimal system performance, user support, and compliance with data security standards in a highly regulated environment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

tMonitor and maintain company networks, servers, security systems, and hardware.

tProvide technical support and training to employees across all departments.

tInstall, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software on desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.

tManage user accounts, permissions, and system access through Active Directory, Cloud, Microsoft 365, and other platforms.

tAssist with the maintenance of ERP, inventory, and document management systems used in medical device manufacturing.

tEnsure systems backups and disaster recovery protocols are executed regularly and effectively.

tWork with vendors to procure IT equipment and resolve technical issues.

tSupport IT audits and compliance with FDA, HIPAA, and other industry regulations.

tMaintain up-to-date documentation of system configurations, procedures, and support logs.

QUALIFICATIONS : Minimum Required :

tAssociates or Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

tMinimum 2 years of experience in an IT support or administration role, preferably in a healthcare, manufacturing, or regulated industry.

tStrong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, Active Directory and Cloud systems, and networking fundamentals.

tExperience with firewalls, VPNs, antivirus, and cybersecurity tools.

tFamiliarity with data privacy and compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA, FDA 21 CFR Part 11) is a plus.

tHIPAA compliant certifications such as Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) or Certified in Healthcare Privacy & Security (CHPS) is a plus.

tExcellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

tAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

tIT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional are a plus.
